Why get decommissioned controls a current year SOX-program assigned?

After the Rollforward was completed and our SOX/IC-database was ready for 2023, we noted that controls, that were decommissioned in the prior year still have a link to the current year SOX program in the Evaluation section of the Control Data Type. That does make sense from my point of view.

Why isn't there a subroutine in the Rollforward program that prevent creating such records or deletes them after copying?

    Hello Udo,
     
    While you cannot prevent this during the Rollforward program, you can put in a request with your CSM/PSM to delete assessment data and test forms in bulk for decommissioned controls.
