When I link from the workbook into a new column in the presentation, I got this.  Why am I getting an underline, and the blue dot.  This is even happening in cells with numbers.

    Hello Carol, 

    Great question! Those blue lines and dots within your workbook are indicating "tracked changes" within the document. These tracked changes will remain until an owner accepts or rejects them.

    However, if you go to the 'review' tab in your workbook you can change your view mode to 'hide changes.'  This will hide the tracked changes for you but it will not affect anyone else's view while working in the document. Sometimes I find it is easier to work without the distraction of the blue lines everywhere.
