Publish Option Not Activated

I have linked data in a powerpoint presentation however the "Publish" button is not "active" so that I can refresh the data to the source links.  Why is my publish button disabled?

    Hi Rachel,

    Catching up to your question here. Are you still seeing an inactive Publish option? One thing to note is that a Publish likely won't show up until there's a change at the source location, so that may be why you initially did not see one upon linking the cells up.

    You are absolutely correct.  I needed to update something to allow the "publish" option to reactivate.  I wanted to ensure it was working and figured out - you need to make a change for the data push to work! The updated cells will have an Orange notation in corner noting a difference.  Thank you for the assistance!  Learn something new everyday!!
