Exporting to PDF without Resolved Comments

I'm beyond excited to announce that the ability to filter comments on PDF exports is now available in Workiva! Any filters applied in the comment panel will be respected on PDF exports. Thank you all for your contributions, we couldn't have done it without you!

It would be extremely useful to have the option to include only the open comments. Having all the resolved comments in there from the initial review is very distracting and makes it impractical to use.

Hi Justine,
Unfortunately, this enhancement still isn't planned for work by our product team. We will continue to monitor for requests for this feature, but it is unlikely to be picked up for work for the foreseeable future.

Dear Workiva team,
We are also looking to export a PDF with open comments only as for large reports (Yearly Integrated Report) it is not practical to have an export with all resolved comments from the creation of the document.
Alternatively, you could add the functionality as part of the "Send for Review" function and enable an export from the Review document, with only open comments.
Is there an update on this topic? Can you add Mondi Group to the request log?

Dear Workiva,
I too would love it if your development team can research a way for a user to select which comment types they would like to be included when downloading a PDF out of Wdesk (ie, resolved vs open comments). I have found that it is not very efficient to download all comments (particularly resolved ones) out of Wdesk as someone is reviewing multiple drafts of an SEC filing. Makes it more voluminous for the reviewer to see these comments in the PDF, read them and then wonder if they are resolved or still open. They typically like to see only open comments as they proceed with their review process.

Dear Workiva Team,
we also would also welcome a functionality to export a document to PDF with only open comments; not resolved. Our auditor is working with PDF exports, a function to export a PDF with only open comments would help in the reporting season.
