Paste text into a document but keep the wdesk formatting - Paste Values

Surprised that in the Wdesk document you can't paste values into text or "paste match formatting" is maybe another way of saying it. It's especially painful on implementation of Wdesk and updating the new filings that you've already been working on. Maybe there's a simple trick that I'm not aware of though?

    Hi Dallas,

    Currently, when you paste a linked value they do have an option to check or uncheck link formatting flow through, although not from the right-click menu. You'd need to navigate to the right pane to toggle that option, so I can see your point there. The option to open the right pane for Link Formatting IS available from the right click when clicking on the link, however.
     
    One thing you can use is Style Guides to apply an overall format to their documents so when you do a copy/paste into Wdesk, you can more easily apply the desired style and keep formatting, which may be quicker than changing the options from to the right panel and unchecking the link formatting box.
