    The answer for this one will vary slightly depending on if you are using Next Gen or Classic. We want separate fact values for each location in the document because they have different accuracies (thousands, millions, etc.). Since a link can only have one fact value (in Classic) for each source, we want to create additional source links without having to manually update the value in multiple locations. If the fact is displayed with two different accuracies in the document, we will need two source links that go to the document. Chain Linking for iXBRL walks through the process for Next Gen, while Chain Linking for XBRL walks through the process for Classic. The key difference is that Next Gen supports cross-sheet formulas in Next Gen.
