Copying multiple slides

Is there a way to copy or duplicate multiple slides? I want to create multiple groups of the same # of slides for different regions. I have only seen the option for one slide and when I select multiple slides and click duplicate it only duplicates the last slide. Thank you.

    Sure, np!

    In a next gen Presentation, if you right click on any slide in the outline, there will be an option for Copy and also for Duplicate. Here's an example:


    Copy will of course copy the slide to your clipboard. You can then paste elsewhere in the the outline and right click to choose Paste and a new slide will be added that is a copy of the first. This also works if you paste the same slide data into another next gen Presentation.

    Duplicate similarly creates an exact copy of the slide you are selecting and places it directly below the slide you have duplicated.

    To copy or duplicate more than one slide at a time use Shift or Ctrl and select the necessary slides.  Then use the Copy or Duplicate options mentioned above.

    Unfortunately, at this time there's not yet a way to copy/duplicate more than one slide in a Presentation. This is something our Product Team is looking into, and I've shared your interest with them. I'll be sure to keep this post updated going forward with any new developments.

    Good news, Jay!

    I was doing some testing on next generation Presentations today and indeed, you can now copy/paste or duplicate multiple slides within your Presentation. Note that this is only for next gen, though.

    Thought I'd share. Give me a holler if you have any questions for me in the meantime. Happy copying! :)

    Hi,

    I am trying to combine slides from 2 presentations into 1. I was trying copy slide from presentation 1 and use Paste into presentation 2 but it is not working.

    Is there another way to combine?

    Hi Srikanth Adi, 

    I'm sorry to hear you're having issue copying and pasting slides.

    To combine slides from two Workiva presentations, follow these steps:
     
    1. Copy and Paste Slides:
      - Open both presentations in the same workspace.
      - Select the slides you want to copy. To select multiple slides, hold the Ctrl key (or Cmd on Mac) and click each slide, or use the Shift key to select a range.
      - Right-click and select "Copy" or use the Ctrl + C shortcut.
      - Go to the destination presentation, find a white space in the section outline, and click on it.
      - Use Ctrl + V to paste the slides. Ensure you are not pasting on a busy section outline; collapse all sections or find an empty spot at the bottom.
     
    2. Export and Import Workaround:
      - If the above method does not work, export one presentation as a .pptx file.
      - Import the .pptx file into the other presentation.
      - Copy and paste slides as needed to maintain links

    Brooke, Yes. both Presentations are in the same workspace.

    Isabel, I am trying option 1, using Copy/Paste. But when right clicking and selecting Paste, nothing seems to be happening.
