Where / how to create link to testing workpapers
I am curious what other folks do to establish a link (either an actual link or a reference) from your testing conclusions to your testing documentation attached to your testing forms, and from a technical standpoint, if there is a way to create an actual link within a text field?
We use Workiva for internal SOX testing, and in a 'Conclusions' field within a particular control's test form within the 'Testing' experience, we like to briefly describe the testing performed and the results of testing (who performed the control, when it was performed, what testing we did over the control, etc.). And the only way we have found to refer back to our testing documentation that is attached and has markup is to just add a note that says something like 'Please see [tab name] sheet within the attached [file name] testing workpaper.' - it would be nice to create an actual link within that 'Conclusions' box to the actual spot in the testing workpaper that substantiates our test results.

We have not found a way to link this, but we also don't heavily document the conclusion field in Workiva. We typically would note any details within the workpapers themselves and reserve the conclusion field to state 'no exceptions noted' or something very brief unless the control had an issue.

We set up our test forms based on the fields that were included in our workpaper templates. Ideally all information is entered directly in the test form so it can be easily displayed in a report. The only thing intended to be attached is supporting documentation.
