Importing excel charts to Workiva document and spreadsheet (as chart, not as image)

Hi is there a way to import excel charts into spreadsheet as chart?

Current when doing Workiva sync add-in on excel. It only sync the cell values but not the excel charts.

My objective: there are some nicely formatted charts in my excel and I want them to 1) sync to a Workiva spreadsheet, and 2) which is linked to the Workiva Document.

I know I could recreate the charts in Workiva document using the linked cells in table but the chart formatting option on Workiva is not as nice as Excel.

    Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time. Sync is setup to only bring over values, not images.

    Additionally, Charts in the Workiva platform have to be created based on Workiva spreadsheet data. That said, once a chart is created in Workiva platform, syncing changed data and then publishing will update the charts. If you do not recreate the chart in Workiva, it will be imported as an image.
