Allow more than one Data Provider

Hi,

we came across the restriction beeing able to only add one Data Provider per metric in our ESG Program. This is quite a hindrance and is not reflecting real life processes. The accurate collection of KPIs must not be dependent on one single person, hence the possibility of a setting up a designated back-up Data Provider should be a no-brainer. From our point of view this missing feature offers a huge process risk.

    Katharina Wolters Linda Walter (and everyone else), you can now add multiple workspace members as a metric task's Assignee. When a task has multiple assignees, any of them can prepare the assigned values and supporting material to complete the task. To learn more, view Manage metric tasks in Sustainability Program.

    If you have queries based on task assignments, note that their results may now return either a single assignee or a comma-separated list of multiple assignees. You may need to edit queries as necessary to accommodate a comma-separated list as a possible result.

    There's an existing feature request to "Allow multi assignees in Task Assignee field" which will also address the "Ability to assign multiple data providers". Adding you now!

    Katharina Wolters Great timing, you'll soon be able to add multiple workspace members as the Assignee for a metric's tasks; slated for later this month!

    Similar to your "designated back-up" scenario, when a task has multiple assignees, any of them will be able to prepare the metric values and supporting material needed to complete the task or submit it for approval. Stay tuned to What's New in Sustainability Reporting for when this releases!

    I'm interested in this as well so please add me. However, I'm confused on the difference between adding multiple people as the Assignee and allowing multiple assignees in the task assignee field. How would you add multiple people as the assignee without putting them both into the task assignee field?
