Dimensions in Table 3 tagging

Hi Team,

We were trying to use a dimension axis while tagging an entire table (Level 3) as the same table was disclosed in mutiple sections and were unable to do this in next gen XBRL. However, we did this in old XBRL (Java version). Is this something not recommended or a feature yet to be enabled in next gen?

    Hi Monty!

    It is not recommended to apply dimensions in Level 3. All your information will be conveyed in Level 4 where you will also apply your dimensions. If you need to combine it, when you break it into seperate sections, it will provide a seperate number. If you get duplicated facts, be sure you have checked the checkbox 'Combined Facts' and your specific numbers should remain the same due to their specific tagging.
