I am currently unable to insert images into the Wdesk version of Excel. Images saved in an Excel document do not upload into the Wdesk version of Excel.

    Thanks for the feedback here. I just wanna make sure have gathered it correctly for you.

    You are looking to have images found in an Excel file also included into Workiva when you import that file? Or is it images found in the Excel that are attached as support documents?

    FWIW, you CAN insert an image into a Spreadsheet, though you have insert it into a cell by first clicking inside the cell and choosing it from the Insert menu.

    Yes, I am looking to have images found in an Excel file also included into Workiva when I import the file. 

    Thank you, I was unaware I could include an image into the spreadsheet.

    I second this. It is very common for us to paste in screenshots and such into a spreadsheet and I would like it to be on the "face" of the spreadsheet, rather than require another user to click into a cell and attach the image to the cell or view the image attached to the cell.

    Yes, we would really love to have this functionality as well. We have recently switched to Workiva and 95% of our documentation used to be in excel. We have always pasted screenshots in excel and we are trying to import our previous excel documents into Workiva spreadsheets so that we can edit them easier and link them as a connected file to our test forms, but we lose all our images and because we paste screenshots in, we don't have the image saved in order to use the insert image functionality by clicking into a cell.

    VERY common for us to paste screenshots into a spreadsheet so this fix / added ability would be very beneficial to us.
