Applying table format to multiple tables at once
Hello,
I have two questions regarding table formatting in Documents.
1) When it comes to styling tables, is there a faster way to apply a table style to multiple tables at once instead of copy and pasting the style to individual tables?
2) Is there a faster way to apply a certain table width to multiple tables rather than copy pasting a table with the desired width?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.

Hello Jakob Kristensen, thank you for your question!
1) To apply a table style to multiple tables efficiently without manually copying and pasting, you can use the Format Painter tool. Here's how it works:1. Select the style you want to copy using your cursor.
2. Click once on the Format Painter icon to load the style. A border will appear around the icon.
3. Click on the tables or areas where you want to apply the style. For applying the style to multiple locations:
- Double-click the Format Painter icon. This keeps the style loaded, allowing you to apply it to multiple tables or sections until you turn it off by clicking the icon again.Note: If used in a table, the Format Painter will also copy cell styles and rules (e.g., borders). For more complex table styling, it might be simpler to apply styles manually2) To apply a specific table width to multiple tables efficiently, you can use the Table Properties panel in Workiva. Here's how:1. Select the Table: Click on the table you want to adjust.2. Open Table Properties: Use thePropertiesicon in the right toolbar to access the Table Properties tab.3. Set Row and Column Size: Under the "Row and Column Size" section, enter the desired width for the columns. You can also select the entire table to apply the width uniformly across all columns.4. Apply to Multiple Tables: Repeat the process for other tables, or use automation features like scripting for bulk adjustments(This is the fastest option we have available at the moment)0U moet u aanmelden om een opmerking te plaatsen.
