Hi

Is it possible to schedule a chain to run once a year on a specific date? I don't see an option for this under the "Schedules" section. Unless I'm missing something?

    Hi Chad Weber,

    Your screenshots are close but will not take into account leap years. Instead, you may want to configure your schedule by months and/or use the Control Sheet Scheduler template to help fine-tune scheduling.

    Having a look at the Control Sheet Scheduler page, I've noticed that a Time part isn't specified in the example provided. Can this be done as well?

    Also, is it possible to create expressions in the sheet to create a dynamic date instead of manually maintaining a specific list?

    Hi Chad Weber,

    If you use the Control Sheet Scheduler and you want the Chain to run at the same time of day on each date in the Control Sheet, you can configure the execution time in the Chain Scheduler itself. If you want it to run more than once per day at specific times, you could do this by either creating more than one Chain Schedule, or enhancing the template by changing the Dates type from a date to a timestamp.

    Yes, you can include logic in your Control Sheet to dynamically generate the values. The template demonstrates static entries, but you could make the values dynamic and use formulas in your Control Sheet.
