User unable to select 'Gap (Design or Testing)' in SOX Issue creation
BeantwoordHi, I have a user, she's editor of the test, etc., and when she creates an issue in SOX workspace, she is unable to select the Gap (Design or Testing)' in SOX Issue creation. It is grayed out for her. She also cannot select anything in the Issue For Control box.
I can, in both situations, but I also have advanced roles in that workspace. I can't see that there are special permissions for those fields. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff

Officiële opmerkingHi Jeff,Thanks for reaching out! Great question! The Gap (Design or Testing) and Issue For Control fields in SOX Issue creation require specific field-level permissions to be granted to the user. Having an Editor role on the test form alone is not sufficient for these fields.Workiva has updated how Issue and Action Plan permissions work. Field-level permissions for the Remediation experience (Issues & Action Plans) are now managed directly through the Permissions modal within the Remediation experience — no report-based editing rule is required.A Data Admin can grant access as follows:
- Navigate to the Remediation / Issues experience
- Open the Permissions settings for the relevant Issue or Issue type
- Use the Permissions modal to grant the user access to the specific fields, including Gap (Design or Testing) and Issue For ControlNote: This replaces the older approach of granting access via an editing rule on a report. If your workspace was set up using the older method, it may still work, but the new Permissions modal is the current recommended approach.
Please reach out to your Data Admin or CSM to have the appropriate permissions configured. Let us know if you have any further questions!UPDATED 2026U moet u aanmelden om een opmerking te plaatsen.
