    Hi Jamie!

Our Product Team is aware that when sending the entire document for review, it includes non-printing sections or hidden slides. The team here is committed to fixing this discrepancy by the end of 2020. I'll certainly keep you apprised of their progress on this post as well.

Let me know if I can assist with anything else. Thanks as always for your time, and for stopping by the Extended Learning booth at Amplify. Hope you won the scavenger hunt!

    Hi Jamie!

I'm a bit late on this one, but this functionality was in fact released in Q4 but I missed its released back then. I am pleased to state that any non-printing sections in Documents and hidden slides in Presentations are no longer included when you send either for review.

Thanks as always for your feedback and patience. Give us a holler too if you have any questions or need anything. Thanks much and happy Friday!

Nonprinting sections also appear in document blacklines. Can that be changed without having to individually go through and unselect them each time?

    Hi Heather!

You are correct, I am seeing that non-printing sections are included in blacklines (assuming the section had changes). Currently there's not a selection to include/exclude non-printing from that, but I'm happy to submit that request for you. We'll be in touch with our next steps, but in the meantime let me know what other questions you have or if you need anything else. Cheers!

    Hi, Mike:

In light of Heather's comment three years ago, I wondered if there is also a way to hide multiple sections of the outline that we won't be using in a particular quarter that we might use in the future but don't want to delete them.  We have made them nonprintable already, but they are greyed-out but still visible. We have combined our 10-K with Q1 10-Qs this quarter, and it is very difficult to get smooth pagination flowing through, especially with section breaks being present on section items we won't be filing, since we cannot delete section breaks unless we delete the section in the outline.  Thanks in advance.  If there is a way to do this now (I have searched for it and did not find it), please let me know. Thanks!

    Hello Gwendolyn!

Thanks for the question. Love your feedback here. This sounds a lot like this request: Filter non-printing sections from the outline. Currently this is still not possible but I'm happy to share your use case and interest back with our developers and will keep you apprised going forward. Thanks again for sharing and give us a holler if you have any questions. Cheers!
