How do you remove a page footnote?
BeantwoordI have a table footnote and a page footnote, I need to keep my table footnote but remove the page footnote; i cannot find how to remove it. It won't let me highlight the area to delete it.

If the footnote is in body text:
- Locate the superscript number in the document body where the footnote was inserted
- Place your cursor next to the footnote superscript and delete it — this will remove both the reference and the annotation at the bottom of the pageIf the footnote is in a table cell:
- Right-click on the specific cell that contains the footnote reference
- Select "Remove Footnote" from the menu
- This will remove the footnote reference from the cell and the associated annotation at the bottom of the pageIf you see a line at the bottom of the page but can't find the footnote reference:
- The footnote superscript may be hidden or hard to spot — search through the document carefully for a small superscript number
