Good call, Robert. Yes, the new ruling does impact Proxy's and their requirement to be XBRL tagged is coming as early as next spring for many calendar-year filers. However, based on our understanding of the ruling, the only item that would need XBRL tagged would be the Pay Verse Performance table. This post here has the nitty gritty, but to your point, the answer to this questions will very soon be a yes.
Hi Huayi!
I'm pleased to let you know that Proxy statements still do NOT need to be XBRL tagged. You can certainly have your legal counsel confirm as well. Typically this can be found in EFM Vol. II Sec. 6, which will also reference Regulations S-K and S-T.
Let me know if you have any questions for me or need anything else. Thanks for the question and have an awesome day!
0Hi Mike,
Got it. Much appreciated for the prompt response.

0No problem, Huayi! Happy to help :)
0How about now?
SEC has adopted a final rule on the mandated pay-versus-performance disclosure.
Within the rule it suggests XBRL, right?
