Updates to Google Chrome's Flash Policy
Wanted to let you know about a recent update to Google Chrome® regarding Adobe® Flash® Player.
In Chrome version 76, which was released today, there's an additional one-time step that was added to require users to turn Flash on in the browser before they enable Flash on a per-site basis.
The first time after installing or updating to Chrome 76, you will need to follow these steps to allow Flash on the browser before they’re able to enable for that session.
Locate and click on the 'plugin blocked' decorator in the omnibar
Click 'Manage' from the callout that appears
Click the toggle to change the Flash preference from 'Block sites from running flash' to 'Ask first'.
Return to the Wdesk Editor window and repeat the usual steps of clicking 'Enable Flash'
Click 'Allow' on the 'app.wdesk.com wants to run flash' callout.
There are also two Help articles that have been updated to include these new details. Feel free to share these links with your own IT team too if you need help enabling the new settings.
