New Filing Wizard Functionality?
BeantwoordHas anyone been able to setup a filing package for another member of the team in the same workspace to file under the new filing platform?
Under the old filing platform, within a project, under the filing tab I could setup a filing package, test file it, and then close the project allowing another member of my team to take over from where I left off. This would allow me to work on getting another project ready to file at the same time.
It appears that this functionality does not exist under the new filing platform, unless I'm missing it. Can anyone confirm?

Hi Peter!
Great question! I did a little checking with our next generation Filing team and have some solutions for you.
When a filing created in next generation and the Collect step is run, a new filing container is created within Wdesk Home. They look like this:
And you can see these filings from within Home, either in Recent Files or in All Files, and from this view you could adjust the permissions to the filing by right-clicking and choosing permissions, like so:
This way you could add folks to the filing at a certain point to take over. They can similarly access that filing container from Home. Furthermore, if you leave the filing off at the Review step, for example, when a new user opens the filing, they will automatically be prompted to the last step you left off at. The one thing to note here is that if there is an issue detected at on one of the steps, like your documents are out of date on the Collect step, then the user will be redirected to re-Collect, just like you'd be directed to regenerate an updated document in classic Wdesk.
Does this achieve what you are looking for perhaps? I will say too that our Product Team is looking to improve the permissioning of these filing containers too. I've certainly passed your feedback along to the team and I'll keep you updated if I have any further informations.
Hope this helps. Do let me know if you have any questions for me or need anything else. Thanks, and happy Thursday!0U moet u aanmelden om een opmerking te plaatsen.
