Hello, I received a DFIN guidance from our external counsel to include only certain XBRL exhibits in the Q/K index.  When I look at our filings with the SEC, it does include some other files.  Is there a guidance from Workiva on this?  Our CSM is Weston Clark and he has the DFIN article or feel free to let me know who I can send it to.  Thanks!

    Hi Sandra,

    Thanks for this question. This is one we have received a bit more recently, as the SEC has started to allow this functionality and we've seen other filers, like DFIN, allow this.

    Your counsel would be correct, having all the XBRL linked in your index is not required by the SEC and is optional at this point. However, Workiva is looking into opening up this possibility to customers and is actively tracking interest. I'd be happy to add you to our list and can keep you apprised of any of our progress.

    Thanks Mike!  Please do keep me posted and include me in the list.  Would love to receive Workiva's guidance on this so we're sure it's not specific to how DFIN's platform submits the filings.
