Hi, I’m Robert!

Hello! I’m Robert McNeely, Vice President of Customer Success at Workiva. I’ve been here for almost 6 years now, and today I oversee all our CSM teams. I’m all about customer success, executing results & outcomes, and most importantly, building and investing in relationships with our customers, as well as the Workivans on my team. 

On a personal level, I am originally from Nebraska and have a passion for sports. Go Big Red! Fun fact: I was globally ranked for the video game Madden®, almost making it on the coveted "Madden Cruiser". Surely there are some other Madden fans out there. Hit me up if you want a friendly match.

All that said, whether it pertains to work, hobbies, personal interests, peers, and more, I’m fond of saying, “Day by day we get better and better.” And we sure do!

So why I am here today? I’d like to talk about an event close to my heart—Amplify!

Should you attend? Yes, you should.

Amplify is favorite event of mine. Workiva wants you to attend, of course, but there are so many benefits as to why this event is a must.

First, as an attendee, you’ll be surrounded by hundreds of companies with over 70 available sessions covered by 100+ experienced, specialized speakers to choose from. Each year there’s an overflowing pool of opportunities to discover new and better ways of addressing the challenges we're all facing.

Not only does Amplify provide the tools you need to advance your career, but also allows you to meet some of the brightest minds in the business and grow your network and knowledge.

The people

In the remote or hybrid workplaces we all find ourselves in, in-person options have become rarer. Amplify allows you to soak it all in. It’s not only the content, but  the people and relationships. It’s the opportunity to have face-to-face discussions, creating building blocks that overcome challenges together.

And believe me, there is excitement on both sides. There are so many customer-facing Workiva teams in attendance, including CSMs, PSMs and Sales, who look forward to strengthening the bonds we have with all of you. Whether it is meeting for the first time or tenth, we are always eager to sit down and have a chat.

Amplify too is a social hub where you can network, meet numerous others who are passionate about Workiva, and finally put faces to the names. It’s your chance to both see your favorite people again and meet some new ones, including CPX leaders!

The tech

Naturally, there’s a big focus on the platform at Amplify, and you’ll surely see the latest and greatest cutting edge technology, gaining insight on what we’ve been developing. Heck, it may even surprise you. 

On full display is how Workiva is evolving, what ideas our partners bring to the table, and what role customers play in our company goals, and more, showcasing how we all work together. And being in-person at Amplify allows you to bring your questions about this new tech to the Workiva experts on hand. In the Amplify Hub, our experts help attendees on the spot, allowing instant access to solutions and tips face-to-face. That leads me to ask: can you do that from your computer that fast? I certainly can’t!

To learn more about the latest and greatest, there are countless sessions you can attend from these same experts, our Partners, and Industry leaders too. Do you want to learn more about ESG or process management with Workiva? We got it! What about public sector automation with partners and roundtable discussions? We have that too. 

You will hear about new product launches as well that could kickstart new ideas for future products. There is no shortage of learning and advancing your knowledge with experts surrounding you at Amplify this year. Oh, and CPE credit is available too.

The benefits

Workiva truly goes over the top for this event each and every year. Where would I be if I didn’t mention the celebrity speakers! This year attendees will hear from the one and only Michelle Obama, former First Lady, and George Clooney, Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker, businessman, and human rights activist.

If you don’t think that’s enough, you will also be able to experience live music from the Goo Goo Dolls during the closing event. There will also be  some welcome receptions and summits happening on site too. 

In short, we put in the extra effort to make sure everyone has a once in a lifetime experience. And just think, YOU could be a part of it. So, why not attend Amplify? There’s no good reason not to.
