Navigate quickly to a given ESG Metric

Hi Nick! From ESG Program, you can click Filter to search the outline for metrics by name (but not ID). I'll pass along the idea of an ID search to the team, but in the meantime, hopefully that helps. Thanks!
I've had this same need many, many times. It's very easy to communicate by referring to metric IDs, but if someone says, "Can you double-check that the assignee on M123 is correct?" there is no quick way to do this through the UI. I instead end up opening a query and filtering on that metric ID to figure out what topic it is under (although I suppose I could just check the name and search for it, but that doesn't really occur to me for some reason).
Ideally if one could simply search for metric ID or metric name and have the results show both metric ID and metric name. Otherwise it is almost counterproductive to even surface metric ID elsewhere in the UI (e.g., as in Data collection sheet templates or the Factbook).

P.S. Related, it would be helpful to make metric ID visible by default on each metric page (instead of requiring an extra click to expose this in a menu, which is the current state).
The reason for this is pretty similar to the desire to be able to find/search for a metric by metric ID: a metric ID is a UID, and with many similarly named metrics it is often essential to be confident that you've found and opened the right metric.

Just an heads up that — thanks in part to this thread — you can now choose to view and search for metric IDs in the ESG Program outline. You can also now search ESG Program by metric ID or the name of a topic or metric from Program overview.

Not to be greedy, but here are two (and a half) things that would make this feature even better:
- Let those with View access to an ESG Program use this feature.
- Allow filter by metric ID even when the IDs aren't displayed AND/OR let a user's choice (to display IDs) be "sticky" across sessions.
