Here's what's new and why it matters:

• ✅ Stricter data quality controls: We now require disclosed Scope 1, 2, and key upstream Scope 3 categories before CDP data enters your inventory. Less noise, more confidence in your numbers.
• ✅ Enhanced transparency into raw data: You can now see raw CDP disclosure numbers and factor calculations directly inside the platform before you decide to adopt a supplier factor. No more black boxes.
• ✅ No proxy gap-filling: If a supplier's data doesn't meet our quality threshold, it's excluded rather than estimated. Your audit integrity stays intact.
• ✅ Smarter year-to-year alignment: Automated inflation corrections kick in when transaction and disclosure years don't line up, so your factors stay precise.

What this means for you:

2. If you haven't used the Hybrid ("Supplier Mapping") method before, you're starting fresh on V2 — it'll be the default across all your reporting years, and you won't see a V1 option. You're jumping straight to the good stuff.

1. Already using the Hybrid method?

2. Pre-2026 reporting years will default to V1 to keep your historical data consistent. You can choose to upgrade any of those years to V2 whenever you're ready. Just keep in mind that upgrades are permanent. All 2026 and future reporting years will automatically use V2.
