I am a little curious about this because we have some things we don't do simply because of these timing differences.

I think something could be done if the upcoming lock feature would prevent destination links from being updated in the locked file. If that were the case, I think that it would make for a Global primary common verbiage more feasible!

We have copies of the documents that are all linked to primary language and get copied for every quarterly disclosure.  It results in lots of extra files and is extremely confusing to follow how we rollforward our documents, but if you can wrap your head around how everything is linked and rolled forward, it minimizes the noise of having to match language later.

Jared Kastriner do you end up removing all links once you make a copy for the next quarter (e.g. q2) and finalized the quarter reporting?

Leave all the links, otherwise it defeats the purpose. Our quarter has a folder with a copy of our annual and our audit with it.  We work our quarter and the annual/audit get updated in real time instead of the end of the year. When it is time to do work our annual disclosure/audit, we move those to their respective folders. Our annual/audit is June, which issues around the same time as our September disclosure, which means our September of FY22 is linked to our Audit/Annual of FY21.
