Blacklines and support binders needed for remote work
완료Using Workiva to prepare and file our documents has been one of the biggest factors in our success this quarter, especially since we are working remotely. Although we have purchased Next Gen, we have not transitioned for two main reasons - blackline capability and support binders. We rely heavily on the use of support binders to provide both internal and external auditors documentation. Our audit committee receives blacklines of our documents.
Please consider this functionality as crucial to the success of the new platform.

We hear similar stories for sure with other customers who are waiting for blacklines and Support Binders in next gen. That being said, blacklines are available in next gen today but further improvements to them, including a blackline viewer, history and sending for review, are planned for later this quarter. Support Binders are in the works and planned for later this year.

Quick update here for you.
A recent release has now made the blackline viewer and history available in next gen Documents, so you are not forced to download a PDF only of the blackline results. The other items mentioned are still in flight, but wanted to keep you apprised here. Give me a holler if there are any questions. In the meantime, have a stellar weekend!

Another update for you.
As promised, we've also made sending for review available in next gen, which also allows you to send to groups as well as individual users. Our Product Team is actively working on Support Binders and we'll continue to keep you posted there, but wanted to spread the good news on reviews. Thanks again and have a happy Wednesday!0
Another update here.
Attachments is/has been available for next gen since late in 2020, and more functionality has continued to be added there. Most recently the addition of marking up your attachments, including stamps.
Full Support Binder generation and markup to Workiva files is yet to be released, but we'll continue to keep you posted. Thanks and happy Wednesday!
