Ability to set cell data type when importing via an API
답변함Hi, I am using the spreadsheets/v1/spreadsheets/{Id}/sheets/{Id}/data API to import the data to sheet from the external data source.
I am setting the data in the body of the POST call in JSON format. The import is successful, but he data types are not correct. Some of the dates and the numbers are recognized text.
Is there a way to explicitly set the cell type via the API?

At this time, there's not an explicit way to control the format via the API. However, once you format the cells in in the Spreadsheet, it will keep the formatting upon any further updates.

Thanks. Currently in the API, I am passing all values as strings. Is there a way I can pass numbers and strings in JSON? Would the API accept it.? 0
