    Hi Jason,

    Thanks for bringing this up.

For table titles, they will always tend to add a bit of padding on the edges, which is why the margins do not fully line up with your page margins. That's also why the line returns earlier than it might normally for plain text on a line.

To avoid this return, you could try putting the title heading and its text above the table and then applying "Keep With Next"  so that they table and the text stay together. Here's my example:

Hope this helps. Do let me know if you need any clarification on the above, or have any additional questions. Always happy to help. Thanks again and happy Friday!

As a follow up to this question, what is the difference between having a table title vs the keep with next formatting option? If I export a document to word, the keep with next typically doesn't carry over. If I use table titles, will the titles stick with the table consistently?

    Hi Jamie,

Thanks for the follow-up. A table title is actually part of the table itself. To access its, click on the top left corner of the table and you should see the option.

Conversely, the Keep with Next feature is a setting for the text and tables of your document, which forces two items to stay together, even when the whole paragraph (or table) moves onto a  new page.

Initially I'd expect the Keep with Next to translate during export, but sometimes these exports do have some variation. However, a table title should behave differently and I'd definitely expect that to stick with the table during export.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any questions on the above, or need anything else. Cheers!
