Rolling forward from Q1 - MD&A impact
답변함When rolling forward the first quarter 10-Q project, from the previous third quarter project (which seems to be best practice), what is the best thing to do for the MDA as in Q1 the YTD and QTD discussion will be the same but you still need to preserve the YTD information without losing all the links, for Qs 2 and 3. Is there a way to hide the YTD discussion in the first quarter or do you have to re do the links and discussion in the second quarter? I know the YTD columns can easily be hidden in tables, but wasnt sure what the best practice was for the MDA. Would welcome any suggestions. Thanks.

We create a non printing page near the bottom of the document. Then copy and paste the MD&A applicable for the nine months from September into that page, with enough of an identifier so it can be replaced in June. Then nuke it in the Q. At June we copy and paste the information back from the non-printing page and it is there and still linked. 0
