Hello Zira,
I reached out to some experts on this topic and found out that there are some variables to your question. Technically, if that cell in the only place any attachments are made, you can attach up to 3,000 attachments. Keep in mind that performance will likely degrade prior to that though.
However, if you have other attachments throughout your documents the number that can be attached to a single cell will be in the hundreds.
