Column alignment based on digits
Hello, my team is attempting to align the values within a spreadsheet such that the ones place, hundreds place, etc are vertically in-line (and aligned on the right side of the cells). Given we are using the accounting formatting of the figures, (negative values) are not in line with the positive values, as the spreadsheet makes space for the parentheses. Is there a way to align a column based on the place of the digits?
The desired end result is something like the below, where the ending parentheses of a negative number lies to the right of the ones place of all the numbers of a column

Are you using the "accounting" format instead of "automatic" or "number"?

Thank you for your quick response. Yes, we have accounting format selected throughout the table. However, the last row in the table has % values. Could the % at the end of the figures be affecting the alignment/spacing above?

You are right. We never got the the numbers aligned to the decimal if the column has both dollar amounts and percentages. I don't know if there is another way to do it.
