Txt. files format

Hello everyone,


Does anyone know if Workiva supports txt. format files to update spreadsheet content? Or do I have to convert the txt. file into an Excel file before importing it?


What is the best practice recommended?


My question is concerning both: Wdesk (for manual updating of spreadsheets), and also about information sent via Wdata tables, trough connector etc.

    Hello Juliana!

    Today Workiva Spreadsheets only support importing from .csv or .xlsx. However, you should be able to convert the spreadsheet to a csv from txt pretty easily. You can just change the file extension from txt to csv and that would work.
