Share your ideas and feedback at Amplify
We’re so very excited to be back in person at Amplify this year. I know our research & development team is eager for the chance to talk face-to-face with all of you so we can gather what product and feature enhancements you are looking for.
In years past, we called this the Idea Lab and over the past two years we utilized the Workiva Community to host our Idea Lab virtually, sharing ideas and voting them up. However, now that we’re back in person, we are changing gears and also rebranding our booth from the Idea Lab to The Workshop, with a slightly different approach this time round. Lemme elaborate a little.
What was the Idea Lab, and what is The Workshop?
Previously the Idea Lab offered attendees a way to share an idea and have fellow attendees vote on the suggestion with stickers. When we went virtual, we used our community and shared ideas there, with voting as the means for ranking the suggestions. Afterward, the winners would be announced and then earmarked for work.
This year we’ve decided to take a new approach. The Workshop provides attendees a variety of activities designed to help us understand your goals, pain points, and how we can improve our platform. This way you can still have your voice heard and influence Workiva's product roadmap and overall experience.
That being said, we still encourage you to share your feedback throughout the year, not just during Amplify, whether in the community or via the portal. I know it’s cliche, but we really do love hearing from you.
How can I get involved?
If you’re attending in-person this year, you’ll want to be sure to stop by The Workshop at the Amplify Expo to spin the wheel and sign up for all their events and goodies (there’s even gift cards). In addition to The Workshop, in-person attendees can stop by the solution-specific expo booths (e.g., Audit Risk and Compliance, ESG) to have more in-depth conversations with product managers and designers about upcoming features. Attendees (virtual included) can also peruse our Submit Feedback section of the community for any inspirations and/or to share your own two-cents too.
I know our research and development teams is eager to chat with you all. In the meantime, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. Thanks and see you in Vegas!
