Pivot Table in Spreadsheets
It is very frustrating to not be able to create a pivot table in wdesk. It takes way to long to use sumifs formulas to get the results that a pivot table would provide. I am trying to keep it all in wdesk for audit/control purposes. Is there any plan to create something similar to pivot tables in spreadsheets any time soon?

Quick update for all interest pivot table enthusiasts.
This is certainly something that Workiva wants to add and we are actively working on a new technology that will unlock our ability to add pivot capabilities to the platform. This technology is currently being looked at for our Investments use cases but will provide Workiva with an opportunity to build out a pivoting interface that we will allow further adds across the platform for generic usage down the line.
As far as timeline, we do NOT we expect the larger Pivot Tables functionality to be made available to in 2025 but we do expect better insights into these capabilities within the second half of 2025.
We'll continue to gather requestors, feedback, and use cases here in the community and will keep apprised with updates as we have them later this year. Appreciate your patience along the way and don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Cheers!

Thank you for your candor here. Sadly I don't have awesome news for you regarding pivot tables. As noted here, this feature has been marked as not planned, though it does continue to gain steam. There's not any substantial updates to give, sadly. Our Wdata team was looking a solution but it has proven a bit challenging. For Spreadsheets itself, it's not on the short term radar but at least on the future roadmap. We'll definitely continue to keep you apprised here of any new updates.

0Would definitely say as a user this would be a huge improvement to have pivot tables. Very hard to do as much in workiva in spreadsheets and makes it seem easier to just keep in excel.
1I agree on the pivot table thing here. Major setback - for all that Workiva can do it doesn't seem like an acceptable answer that this is simply too tough for the IT team. I have some processes I will be keeping in excel and uploading later to workiva because it would be more work to do sumifs.
