Advanced Example: Combining CHILDREFS usages
You can include the CHILDREFS function more than once in a formula. This enables you to compound aggregations from different parent sheets all in one formula.
- In the above example, the North America sheet is a sibling to the “NII Summary” sheet, containing its own child sheets.
- To ensure the North America values are captured in the “NII Summary” sheet, we append “(SUM(CHILDREFS('North America'!B10)))” to the existing formula.
- This tells the formula to also sum cell B10 in each child sheet to “North America”.
