“Exported By” Stamp and Export Restrictions for Enhanced Compliance
As organization, we rely heavily on Workiva for managing and sharing key financial and governance documentation. As part of our compliance and security framework, we’ve requested the implementation of two key features:
1️⃣ “Exported By” Stamp – Automatically applied to documents, spreadsheets, and presentations whenever they are exported or printed, displaying the username of the user performing the action.
2️⃣ Export Restrictions – Limiting the export of documents (especially to Word format) to document owners only.
These capabilities would greatly strengthen traceability, accountability, and data integrity, aligning with compliance requirements such as internal auditability and data governance controls.
