Hi Sharmilla, it sounds like you are trying to refresh a connected sheet?

First, try navigating to the query directly in Wdata and running the query. Verify if the query successfully runs and produces results. Calculate the number of cells returned by the query (rows x columns). Assuming that the query runs successfully, you may be running into the spreadsheet max cell limit.

All Spreadsheets are limited to a maximum of 2 million cells which includes historically used cells (for reference, here is documentation of all Spreadsheet limits including max cell limits https://developers.workiva.com/workiva-guides/docs/limits#spreadsheets). If the query produces less than 2 million cells, but your Spreadsheet includes other Sheets with data, you may be hitting the max cell limit. You can test this by creating a completely new Spreadsheet and trying to connect the sheet to your query.

Assuming that both tests above pass, your possible paths forward are to create and use a new Spreadsheet (which has its own allotted 2 million cells), reduce the query's output size, and/or delete unused columns, rows, and sheets in the existing Spreadsheet to free up usable cells.
