Copy & Pasting Boarder Outlines in Spreadsheets
One of my biggest Pet Peeve's working is when you are copying+pasting in Spreadsheets it also copies the format related to the cell outlines. We have specific outlines for some of the tables we use and it is very frustrating that is does this when you copy+paste content in different areas of a table for example. This requires you to consistently update the format of the table boarders. Please let me know if anyone shares this displeasure and if there is a way for the copy+paste functionality to just copy the content rather than the format of the cell outline.

Chuck, I share your frustration. You are probably aware that if you click on the little icon that appears on the bottom right after you paste (I think it's a clipboard), you can choose from a number of options, one of which is to not copy formatting. You can also set that as the default, so you don't have to keep doing that step. That might be a timesaver for you, but you do need to be aware of it, and might have to use that setting multiple times.
In Classic, that was working for me fine, but I'm finding that copying and pasting between Documents and Spreadsheets now tends to lose the "default" setting, especially for formatting, so I end up having to fix it or constantly uncheck the paste formatting box. Not the end of the world, but it does add time and unnecessary clicks to my project.
Good luck!
1Slightly different issues for me, but yes, the way the borders copy and paste compared to Excel is funky and definitely causes a lot more reformatting than I'm used to with excel.
Also agree on the "default" not remaining as we work between different sections, tables, and document types.
