    Sync the values only instead of the formulas. There is a little check box in the lower left hand corner of the sync menu you can uncheck so that the formulas are not synched.

    Hi Jessica,

    Thanks for your prompt response. However, we do not see any such option when we import excel in a spreadsheet. We only see that option in Wdesk sync. Any workaround for 'IMPORT'

    Hi Sonali! Happy to provide some insights for you here.

    If you are importing an XLSX into a Spreadsheet, it should automatically import formulas. The caveat here is that only works for those supported. Here's a listing of all supported formulas for reference: https://support.workiva.com/hc/en-us/articles/360039994631-Supported-Formulas-.\

    Sadly, I don't have  a great workaround for you here as you'll have to make changes to any cells that hold formulas that aren't supported after import. That being said, I think we can do a better job here that perhaps an error after import.     Hi,

    Yes, is there an option to Import values only like what we can do with the Sync function?  We like the import function but noticed that when there's formula looking at other worksheets that we are not importing or can't see, we get errors.

    Thank you for your question! Currently, importing an Excel file will bring in both formulas and formatting; there is no ability to exclude formulas. As you noted, Wdesk Sync does allow for the ability to choose whether or not to sync formulas. You can also can copy/paste from Excel to Wdesk to only bring in values.
