Number Alignment in Tables
回答済みIn Next Gen tables, I am having an issue where I can't align numbers in some tables all the way to the right. I have tried using "Right Align" in the edit options. I have also tried using "Increase Indent" and "Decrease Indent" and it helps move it to the right a little bit, but it doesn't make the numbers aligned with numbers in other tables. Format Painter also did not fix this issue.
The alignment is only off by half a number, which isn't a lot but I would like to know if there is a fix for this?

Do you have numbers that are percentages in the same column in that table?
-1Yes, there are percentages in the same column!
0Then it won't be able to right justified all the way, it makes a space for the %. You can make the rows you want justified in a new table separate from the rows with %'s, but we just leave it and I think it looks fine, because all of the numbers are lined up and even.
0Ok, thank you for the help Jamie!
0Couldn't have said it better myself @...
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️0Is there best practice to have all numbers flushed to the right (with maybe a space for closing parenthesis)? When you have thinner columns, it looks like the numbers are centered when having so much space to the right.
0Adding in another perspective that this has been a major pain point for us. Consider this recent example:
We had three of us staring at this table for hours (almost literally) trying to get these figures to all right-align consistently. The right-align tool, the format painter tool, double-checking fonts and sizes, checking indentation—nothing seemed to be able to fix the inconsistent right-alignment of these (and this is just one example among several). I thought perhaps it was because some of these figures were text links, others cell links, and others not linked at all, but when I recreated that combination in a new table in a separate document they all right-aligned fine.
Bottom line, while we somehow inadvertently created this problem ourselves, we were unable to comprehend what was going on and therefore couldn't fix it. It was especially frustrating that the format painter was no use on this.
