    Hi Jenn,

Thanks for the question. Indeed, this was quite a challenge to get right, but I think I have solved the puzzle. :) Here's how I set it up.

The only differences between your condition and mine are that I'm using an absolute cell reference (the $C$1 portion) and for the "When" item, I'm using Formula is true.

Hopefully this is what you are looking for. If I've missed the mark, or you have questions, just give me a holler and I'll keep digging. Besides, I love a good puzzle! Happy Wednesday in the meantime. Cheers!

Mike, rats!! I didn't even notice that there was a scroll bar in the When dropdown, so I didn't see the Formula options.

That worked perfectly! Thank you so much!

Side note for the devs: to make it work for Q2, Q3 and Q4 columns, I had to make 3 separate rules. Using the absolute reference made all three columns look at the $C$1 instead of each column looking at its own row 1 value. It'd be nice to have it be "drag-able" like in Excel.

No problem Jennifer Bartlett! It took me a few rounds to get it just right.

And good call there. Will do!
