Wow! Can you believe that 2020 is just a few weeks away? Seems like only yesterday we were ringing in the new year. You know what they say, though, time flies when you're having fun and the Workiva Community is nothing but!

At Workiva
2019 was a great year for Workiva. We opened two new offices in Frankfurt and Paris, received FedRAMP moderate certification, added Julie Iskow as our new COO, and were honored by several awards, including a Technical Innovation of the Year award, Large Software Company of the Year award, and a smattering of Employer of the Year and Best Workplace awards, of which I wholeheartedly agree with.

And who can forget the 2019 Amplify user conference in Dallas this year, which w as an awesome experience. I was there and got to meet many of you, which was also awesome! We look forward to offering up even more interesting courses and exiting events next year at the 2020 conference in DC.

The Community
The Workiva Community had a big year, for sure. A few milestones included the addition of some new topics, and a total site migration and overhaul. But perhaps the biggest event yet to happen is a move to being publicly available!

In the coming year, we look forward to watching the Community continue to grow, so keep your eyes peeled for more info, and your time to shine!

Elsewhere in the business world
iXBRL and its new cover page requirements via the FAST Act were a popular item this year. There were a few kinks with the SEC and EDGAR, but you all did awesome and rolled with it, so kudos to you!
