Creating Links in a Presentation Template that are available when you use the template

I created a template using Presentations so that we can be consistent with company standards. I inserted a link to a spreadsheet where I have our Legal Disclaimer (that was a suggestion from the hands on at Amplify in TX). It looks good in the template but when I use the template to create a new presentation all I see is ### where the legal disclaimer should be. 

Are these types of template links supposed to work?

    Thanks for the question. Great to hear you are using next gen Presentations! Sadly, templates do not support links. When you go to Save As > Template, the pop-up window should mention it.

    I'm not sure of a way this would be supported in templates but I'll double check with our Product Team for sure. My apologies there but do let me know what questions you have, or if you need anything else.
