Information request list management - suggestions needed
回答済みDuring SOX testing preparation internal
auditors need to generate initial information request list, and then follow up what has been received what not, and chase (repeating same process multiple times). It happens that client send some documents though emails, some upload to another database, and we keep loosing track/ loose time searching for documents once we start tetsing.
If possible, then how can information info request list updates be automated. I refer to the status - if client uploads relevant document, item could appear as "provided", etc.
Any thoughts/ suggestions/ links I could read?
Thanks!

In the PBC request tab, you can generate the requests by copying from previous testing periods but if they were never created before, you will have to create them first.
In terms of how PBC request tab works is, you create the details of the request first and then select the controls which the request applies to and then select who receives/approves the requests. What I did was creating all the requests on behalf of the external auditors and then select them as the approvers so they get the responses. You can also modify the permission of the requests to give auditors the "owner" access so both you and the external auditors have the full access to view and download the responses.
If a client uploads a document, the request will automatically show up in the "In Review" section. There is a "Document Request Status" report in WDesk Reporting tab which gives you the status of document requests. It might not be perfect but you can work with it.0Thanks Bruce!
I am an outsourced auditor who was given accesses to workiva. Could you help me to find where/ how PBC tab could be generated? Thanks in advance0You will need to ask the WDesk admin of your company to give you the access to PBC tab. He/She needs to go to edit your "role". 0
