Workbook to Spreadsheet transition
回答済みHow, if at all possible, could you easily transition from Workbooks to Spreadsheets with having both active? The idea of being able to laterally set up a spreadsheet with our current workbook is appealing. How have others transitioned?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Hi Ron,
Great question! The process of transitioning from a Workbook to a Spreadsheet can be easy enough, depending on what your current workbook environment looks like.
Furthermore, setting up your new Spreadsheet in parallel with your existing Workbook is certainly feasible. Many of our customers have transitioned to Spreadsheets in a similar manner, picking out specific parts of the workbook/process to move to a Spreadsheet each quarter until you are fully ready to leave the Workbook behind.
The nice part about this is that during this process, you can still continue to work in your Workbook while you start to craft your Spreadsheet, and so long as your new Spreadsheet is included in your project, it's easy to maintain during a roll forward with Project Copy.
Does all that make sense? I'd be interested to see how others are going about this as well. In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions on the above. Thanks again and have a super day!0About to make the switch over to spreadsheets and interested if there are any other users who have transitioned and would like to share their lessons learned. Is there anything you wish you knew before starting or that you would do differently? Thanks! 0Call your CSM and ask if they can do it for you. My CSM migrated our workbook to a spreadsheet using a tool they have in a few hours. No worries about moving links or XBRL. When done, I just checked to make sure the links were correct and made a few formatting changes. 0サインインしてコメントを残してください。
