    Hi Donna!

While I can't speak for all the approaches possible here, but from a Wdesk feature perspective, since there needs to be a control present to do any sort of testing, what I have seen many of our customers do is split this process up across controls. Our Product Team is looking into enhancing this process, so your post is quite timely.

Thanks for the question, always. Let me know if you have any additional questions for me as well.I'd also be interested in how others tackle this.  Looking forward to the continued conversation.

Is it possible to create a WT control at a process level and then link all the control tests to that form. I don't want to break up the narrative of the overall walkthrough and it would be lot of work to write up design tests for each control.

Yes, it is technically possible to create a walkthrough control at the process level and link all the controls to it. However, in some cases, you may not be able to. For example, if you have multiple tests for one control, within the same audit program, this would not currently be possible.  Furthermore, this would also add data to your control data set, which may not be desired.

Let me know if you have questions for me on the above, or if I'm misreading the question. Thanks again, and have a great day!

Would it be possible to talk through this?

Hi Donna! Most certainly. I'll see if I can coordinate something offline. We'll be in contact soon. Thanks!

what I ended up doing was to create a folder for each WT (process level) in my 2018 SOX project and then I'm going to create a table within that folder that links each control in the WT to the control test form. I can't think of a more effecient way to do this but if you have a suggestion I am all ears. That will be faster than breaking apart all the evidence.
