Refresh View

 The problem we are trying to solve is that we want end-users who have access to a view to either see the latest available data (i.e., automatically when they load the view), or else have an easy way to refresh the data on a self-service basis.

However, in attempting to solve this problem, we have observed strange/inconsistent behavior regarding whether the "Refresh View" button in a view pulls in fresh data. It seems to be the case that this does or doesn't based on some combination of user permissions across the view, query, and/or source.

 

Need to understand how this works?

  If you are noticing inconsistencies with the "Refresh View" button, I would recommend contacting our Support team to have them assist. For a deeper dive into the User access that would be needed to view this data, I would recommend contacting your CSM to gather their insights on the matter, as they should have a better understanding of your process.
