The Workiva Instructor-Led team is thrilled to introduce a new course “Intro to Filing,” a two-hour live event training created for anyone eager to learn the basics of filing in the Workiva platform and try out their new knowledge. This course, perfect for new users is a great opportunity to learn new skills while also contributing to the course's success by providing feedback on your learning experience. During the event you'll be guided through:
- Identifying critical roles, permissions, and the fundamental workspace settings related to filing.
- Utilizing Workiva's’ Document Review Tools to enhance the efficiency of the filing preparation process.
- Navigating the Filing Experience Wizard and completing a practice filing simulation to ensure proficiency.
- Discover best practices for filing and access a wealth of resources for ongoing support and guidance.

Hi! I have a beginner level question. Please define "filing" (e.g., filing 10k/10Q, Section 16, other).

Hi Alice, thank you for your question. In this instructor-led course, we'll primarily focus on a 10-K document. However, the skills and knowledge you'll gain are not limited to just this type of filing. You'll find that what we cover can also be easily and seamlessly applied to preparing 10-Q and 8-K filings. Hopefully, I will see you there!
