Having concepts in the outline that aren't in the document

    Hi Shera!

    In chats with our experts, having those concepts would not prevent a filing or trigger a warning, but it would not be best practice. We do have information level validations in Workiva to let the you know if you have concepts that should be removed from outline or applied to your file.

    Thanks Mike, I agree it's not best practice. Just to clarify, when you say information level validations, are these the blue messages that show up when we run a validation report?

    Yes, you are correct. They would show up as the blue messages which will not prevent a filing, of course. More of a heads up.
