XBRL Profiles
Con rispostaIf I make a copy of a document to use as a template for the next period (i.e. I copy the 2nd quarter 10-Q and then use that copy for the 3rd quarter 10-Q), it makes an XBRL profile with a name stating that it was copied. This copied XBRL profile is actually a new profile though, correct? I can just change the name to reflect the current period, and any changes I might make, like migrating the taxonomy, won't impact the XBRL profile from the prior period?

Hi Tim,
Thank you so much for reaching out!
Yes, it does create a new XBRL profile. We recommend changing the name of the copied XBRL profile to the current period. This will aid in keeping everything straight and ensure the wrong files aren't being selected.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions!
Thanks:)0Thank you Julia! That's what I thought, but figured I should verify before I start migrating taxonomies.
